Answer: Combine a lawyer with a psychologist for the total package.
Question: Is there such an individual?
Answer: Meet Don Eisner!
Straight talk from Kathi Stringer
If you've been screwed over as an psych inpatient and you want to lawyer-up to set things straight, contact Don Eisner. This guy understands the legal aspects of a 5150 - the involuntary hold.
If you are still inpatient or know of someone that is inpatient and is getting screwed over and you want to equalize the situation, then you need to contact Don Eisner.
Don understands the process of a 5150, Writs and Rights. It is not uncommon for staff to act unprofessional and punitively toward their patients. Recently I got a message from Don:
I thought you might be interested in learning that two weeks ago, I represented an inpatient who was at Royale Healthcare. On the Writ Hearing, the country didn't even bother to put on a case, and the patient was immediately released. During the first few days, they aggressively attempted to prevent family visitation, but relented after I intervened.
If you have been victimized, or are tired of putting up with the "bull," then contact Don. I have provided his information below.
