Getting Started
1.  ENTER OPERATIONS
 
 
 

You'll like the Operation List Box - it will save you from having to do a lot of typing.  

Simply click on one of the items in the Operation List Box and that item will appear in the operation column.

 
 
Let's continue entering data
 
Continue to click on the following:
   
"Center"  
"Index"  
"Drill"  
"Pullout"  
"Drill Thru"  
"Index"  
"Tap In"  
"Tap Out"  
"Blank" ------------Click on blank space in the operation list box.
"Fcs Form." ----Select an operation with an period "." for all operations ....
"Rcs Cutoff." -----that you want to overlap.
"Rcs Cutoff  
"Clear"  
"Stop" -----End of operations.
   
Click on operation hide from the view menu.  The list box retracts
 

IMPORTANT NOTE:  You must put a period "." after any operation you want overlapped.

AutoCAM! program looks for a period "." to not include the operation into the total Revs

Example

 "RCS Cutoff" is Not Overlapped    VS     "RCS Cutoff."  is  Overlapped

 
 
2.  ENTER RISE & FEED
 
 
3. Enter Remainder of Data
 
 
4.  CLICK APPLY
 

You're DONE!

Except for setting the sequence on the overlap tools

 
5.  Setting the Sequence for Overlapped Tools
 
 

After you click outside the seq cell it will adjust.

Your AutoCAM! layout is complete!  The ending sequence was calculated by AutoCAM!
